Our Changemakers
ARE LEADING the WAY in and Beyond Academics
Our scholars master reading, problem-solving, and thinking like scientists and historians—but they don’t stop there! They apply those skills to activate real change in their community.
- 1st graders partnered with the Precious Dreams Foundation to design comfort kits for children entering foster care.
- 4th graders audited dangerous intersections and launched advocacy websites that collected 1,710 signatures, prompting city leaders to respond.
- 7th graders reframed a neighborhood food insecurity issue into a workforce challenge, launching a pilot connecting food support with job training.
